Job Description: Job Title: Interim Head of Funding Role Summary: Lead the implementation of a funding strategy across three health charities, coordinating cross-functional teams to deliver impactful programs. Oversee grant management, stakeholder collaboration, and financial reporting to achieve organizational health equity goals. Expactations: Ensure successful execution of funding portfolios, strategic governance adherence, and leadership of interdisciplinary teams to drive measurable health impact. Key Responsibilities: - Manage end-to-end funding processes (applications to monitoring). - Supervise funding portfolios in collaboration with managers. - Co-chair funding committees to enforce governance frameworks. - Administer Special Purpose Funds (SPFs) and ensure compliance. - Coordinate financial reporting with finance teams across portfolios. - Provide line management for Funding Managers and public engagement roles. - Contribute to cross-team strategies and operational improvements. Required Skills: - Proven expertise in health-sector grant management and funding strategy. - Demonstrated ability to lead teams through organizational change. - Strong financial analysis skills for grant budgets. - Stakeholder relationship management across internal and external partners. - Clear communication of complex financial and programmatic information. - Quick decision-making and problem-solving in dynamic environments. - Prioritization of competing workloads with empathy and diligence. Required Education & Certifications: Bachelor’s degree in health, finance, or related field. Project management, grant administration, or health equity certifications advantageous.
