**Job Title** Finance Director **Role Summary** Lead finance strategy and operations for a rapidly growing consumer‑goods business operating in the UK, US, and international markets. Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to launch products, execute promotional campaigns, and drive conversion, retention, and customer lifetime value. **Expectations** - Operate independently in a fast‑paced, founder‑led or startup environment. - Demonstrate a proactive, can‑do attitude and ownership of ecommerce operations. - Regularly analyse site performance, identify friction points, and implement optimisation strategies. **Key Responsibilities** - Day‑to‑day management of global Shopify storefronts and related tools. - Upload, update, and maintain product listings, collections, pricing, and content across regions. - Ensure brand‑aligned, accurate website content and product information in all markets. - Execute product launches, promotional campaigns, and onsite merchandising initiatives. - Conduct routine site checks for functionality, product accuracy, and customer experience. - Identify and analyse friction points in the customer journey; propose and implement improvements. - Lead A/B testing and conversion‑rate‑optimisation projects for product pages, collections, and landing pages. - Implement onsite updates (landing pages, banners, merchandising blocks, promo content) without agency reliance. - Optimise product, collection, and category discoverability; support search merchandising and analysis of search data. - Monitor stock levels, support merchandising decisions based on performance metrics. - Report on ecommerce KPIs (traffic, conversion, AOV, customer behaviour). - Drive SEO improvements via content updates and onsite optimisation. - Collaborate with CRM, Affiliate, and Social teams to maintain a consistent digital customer journey. - Localise content and product information for international sites. - Test and optimise new tools, apps, and ecommerce functionalities. **Required Skills** - 2–3 years in an ecommerce, digital, or online trading role. - Hands‑on experience managing Shopify or equivalent platforms. - Familiarity with A/B testing, CRO, SEO, and analytics tools. - Strong organisational and detail‑oriented mindset; capacity to juggle multiple priorities. - Excellent written and verbal communication skills. - Proactive, entrepreneurial attitude; comfortable in a fast‑paced, founder‑led environment. **Required Education & Certifications** - Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, E‑commerce, or related field (or equivalent experience). - Shopify Certified or similar ecommerce platform certification preferred. - Any additional digital marketing certifications (Google Analytics, SEO, etc.) are an advantage.
