Job Description

Job Title: Software Engineer Role Summary: A senior developer focused on designing, building, and modernizing cloud‑native microservices. The role requires deep experience in containerized environments, CI/CD pipelines, and secure, observable application architecture. Expectations: - Deliver scalable, resilient services in a fast‑paced DevSecOps culture. - Mentor junior developers and contribute to agile practices. - Apply security best practices across cloud platforms. Key Responsibilities: - Design and develop event‑driven, containerized microservices (Kubernetes, Docker). - Refactor and migrate legacy applications for scalability and resilience. - Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines, ensuring automated testing and quality gates. - Implement observability (logging, metrics, monitoring) and performance tuning. - Collaborate with product, QA, and SRE teams to deliver reliable services. - Apply secure coding practices, identity and secrets management across cloud environments. - Mentor junior engineers and promote continuous improvement. Required Skills: - Proven experience with at least one public cloud (AWS, Azure, or GCP). - Strong API development and relational database expertise (Postgres, Oracle, SQL). - Proficiency in Java (essential); experience in Go or Python is a plus. - Familiarity with front‑end frameworks (Angular, React) is desirable. - Expertise in containerization and orchestration (Docker, Kubernetes). - Experience with CI/CD tooling, Git, automated testing (integration, unit). - Knowledge of infrastructure-as-code (Terraform, Ansible) and observability tools (Prometheus, Grafana) is advantage. - Demonstrated secure coding practices and identity/secrets management. Required Education & Certifications: - Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience. - Certifications in cloud platforms (AWS/Azure/GCP), Kubernetes, or related technologies are a plus.
