Job Description
Job Title: Sales Manager Role Summary: Lead and develop a commercial team within a retail advertising division, managing key FMCG client relationships, driving sales performance, and ensuring compliance with corporate commercial policies. Expactations: Provide strategic sales leadership, achieve revenue targets, elevate team capability, maintain high client satisfaction, and report progress to senior management. Key Responsibilities: - Manage and coach a team of 5 account directors and 3 sales assistants, fostering skill development and high performance. - Oversee day‑to‑day operations of a portfolio of large FMCG accounts, ensuring account plans and service levels are met. - Analyze sales metrics, set performance targets, and implement corrective action plans. - Implement corporate commercial policy and best practices across the team. - Prepare and present regular performance reports to senior leadership. - Maintain and update internal ERP and commercial tools, ensuring accurate data and reporting. - Serve as primary interface with the purchasing center and retail brands. - Collaborate cross‑functionally with marketing, production, and other internal departments. Required Skills: - Proven leadership and team‑management experience (minimum 2 years in a sales‑team role). - In‑depth knowledge of the retail and FMCG (PGC) sector. - Experience as Key Account Manager, Sales Manager, or Regional Sales Director in FMCG (3–4 years). - Strong analytical, financial, and Excel proficiency. - Excellent communication and negotiation skills in French and English. - Familiarity with digital marketing and category management concepts. - Proficiency with ERP systems and commercial tools. Required Education & Certifications: - Bachelor’s degree or higher in Business, Marketing, or a related field.
