**Job Title**
Senior Machine Learning Engineer – AI Specialist
**Role Summary**
Lead end‑to‑end development, deployment, and scaling of advanced AI models (LLMs, NLP, computer vision) for a major banking client. Own MLOps pipelines, collaborate with data scientists, and ensure secure, compliant, high‑performance delivery in cloud environments.
**Expectations**
- Senior‑level technical expertise in machine learning and deep learning.
- Proven ability to industrialize AI at scale in regulated, high‑security settings.
- Fluent in English; strong written and verbal communication.
**Key Responsibilities**
- Partner with data scientists to production‑grade deployment and maintenance of ML/AI models.
- Scale and optimize existing models for performance, robustness, and resource efficiency.
- Design, implement, and maintain MLOps pipelines (training, deployment, monitoring, re‑training).
- Integrate models into the enterprise IT stack in coordination with DevOps and operations teams.
- Implement monitoring, logging, and alerting for model health and drift.
- Enforce security, compliance, and software quality best practices.
- Conduct ongoing technology scouting and contribute to continuous AI process improvement.
**Required Skills**
- Deep expertise in ML, DL, NLP, and LLM frameworks (TensorFlow, PyTorch, Hugging Face).
- Advanced Python programming and experience with SQL/NoSQL, Spark, Hadoop.
- MLOps experience: CI/CD, Docker, Kubernetes, model monitoring tools.
- Cloud proficiency (AWS, GCP, Azure) and AI‑as‑a‑Service solutions.
- Strong software engineering fundamentals: Agile, version control, code quality.
- Analytical mindset for large‑scale data analysis and insights extraction.
- Excellent teamwork, cross‑functional communication, and ability to simplify complex concepts.
**Required Education & Certifications**
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Data Science, or related field.
- Professional certifications in cloud platforms (AWS Certified Machine Learning – Specialty, GCP Professional ML Engineer, or Azure AI Engineer Associate) preferred.
- Minimum 5 years of relevant industry experience.
