**Job title**
IT Development Engineer Intern
**Role Summary**
Support the development team in creating web and mainframe applications that automate compliance processes such as KYC, AML, and client data management. Contribute to the design, coding, testing, deployment, and documentation of functional and technical specifications, while ensuring traceability and quality across the software lifecycle.
**Expectations**
- Minimum 3 months internship (ideally 6 months) for students in the final year of a bachelor’s or master’s program (Computer Science, Engineering, MIAGE).
- Strong analytical and methodological mindset with excellent listening skills.
- Ability to work cooperatively in a multidisciplinary team.
- Willingness to engage in large‑scale projects and deliver progressive milestones.
**Key Responsibilities**
- Draft technical and functional specifications for new features and enhancements.
- Design, develop, and test web applications using HTML, C#, .NET, and Visual Studio.
- Develop and maintain mainframe modules in z/OS, COBOL, and DB2 as required.
- Implement dashboards and user interfaces for real‑time monitoring and management functions (e.g., credit case reservation, search criteria persistence).
- Deploy solutions in staging environments and support release activities.
- Produce comprehensive documentation (design, user guides, release notes).
- Collaborate with stakeholders, participate in sprint planning, and report progress to the supervising mentor.
**Required Skills**
- Proficiency in web development: HTML, C#, .NET, Visual Studio.
- Familiarity with mainframe technologies: z/OS, COBOL, DB2 (preferred).
- Understanding of KYC, AML, and regulatory compliance concepts.
- Experience designing dashboards and user interfaces (React, Angular, or similar).
- Strong problem‑solving, analytical, and documentation abilities.
- Effective communication and teamwork in an Agile environment.
**Required Education & Certifications**
- Current enrollment in a bachelor’s or master’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field (3–4 years of study).
- Optional: Certifications in .NET, COBOL, or database administration enhance candidacy.
