Oracle APEX Expert (Senior Consultant)
**Role Summary**
Senior consultant specializing in on‑premises Oracle Hyperion Planning (v11 & 11.2) and its ecosystem (SmartView, ODI, Excel/VBA, Unix scripting, APEX, Essbase, OAM/OIM). Provides technical leadership, system design, implementation, QA/QA, and client advisory services to deliver integrated planning solutions for large public‑sector or corporate environments.
**Expectations**
- 5–10 years of deep expertise in Hyperion Planning, including code, data integration and front‑end development.
- Proven track record building systems for high‑volume users (1,000+).
- Ability to work independently and in small cross‑functional teams.
- Strong client‑facing communication and requirement‑definition skills.
**Key Responsibilities**
1. Define project scope, technical specifications, and business requirements.
2. Design, develop, test, and deploy Hyperion Planning solutions (on‑prem).
3. Build SmartView/Excel front‑ends with custom VBA/Macros.
4. Migrate and transform data using ODI, Unix scripts, and metadata management in APEX.
5. Ensure quality through QA/QC of deliverables and performance monitoring.
6. Prepare executive reports, implementation plans, and presentation material.
7. Provide end‑user training, support, and issue resolution.
8. Advise on infrastructure, change‑management, and information‑management practices.
9. Maintain system availability and scalability (Internet‑enabled deployment for large user base).
**Required Skills**
- Oracle Hyperion Planning (on‑prem v11/v11.2), SmartView, ODI, Essbase.
- Excel/VBA programming, Unix shell scripting.
- Oracle APEX for metadata governance.
- Integration experience with OAM/OIM.
