**Job Title**
Integrated Systems Engineer / Developer
**Role Summary**
Design, develop, and validate automated systems for new mobile and special equipment. Serve as both system architect and hands‑on developer within a multidisciplinary team, ensuring performance, safety, and regulatory compliance.
**Expectations**
- Deliver end‑to‑end automated system solutions.
- Produce comprehensive technical documentation (specs, test protocols, operational guides).
- Interface with safety, regulatory, and manufacturing stakeholders.
- Continuously monitor emerging technologies and standards.
**Key Responsibilities**
1. **System Design & Validation** – Define and validate automated systems under technical and regulatory constraints; create specifications, testing plans, and commissioning procedures.
2. **HMI Development** – Design intuitive, ergonomic human‑machine interfaces aligned with user needs and usability principles.
3. **Testing & Verification** – Conduct measurements, simulations, functional recettes, and other validation activities to assure system reliability.
4. **Prototype & Pre‑Series Support** – Guide prototype development, enforce best‑practice assembly, provide technical support, and troubleshoot early‑stage issues.
5. **Safety Analysis** – Perform safety assessments following applicable safety standards (e.g., IEC 61508, ISO 13849).
6. **Architectural Specification** – Define system architecture and functional specifications, including component selection and interfaces.
7. **Technical Documentation** – Produce requirement documents, test protocols, and operation manuals.
8. **Field Deployment** – Assist with deployment, debugging, and training of internal teams on customer sites.
9. **Continuous Improvement** – Identify and implement process enhancements to elevate performance and sustain quality.
10. **Technology Watch** – Track evolving norms and technologies to anticipate client expectations and future needs.
**Required Skills**
- Electrical/Electronics system design for industrial automation.
- Embedded programming (C/C++, PLC, industrial protocols).
- HMI/SCADA development (WinCC, Ignition, FactoryTalk, or equivalent).
- System integration and verification testing.
- Knowledge of safety standards (IEC 61508, ISO 13849, ISO 12100).
- Strong analytical, problem‑solving, and documentation skills.
- Proficiency in CAD and simulation tools (e.g., MATLAB/Simulink, Altium).
- Ability to translate requirements into functional specifications.
- Excellent communication for cross‑disciplinary collaboration.
**Required Education & Certifications**
- Bachelor’s (or higher) in Electrical Engineering, Mechatronics, Industrial Automation, or related discipline.
- Professional certification in automation (e.g., ISA Certified Automation Professional, IEC 61511, or equivalent) preferred.
- Continuous learning in emerging automation technologies is essential.
