Job title: Business Development Manager Role Summary: Lead growth initiatives within the global lifts and escalators sector by identifying new market opportunities, cultivating strategic partnerships, and expanding the customer base for innovative mobility solutions. Expectations:  • Achieve and exceed sales and revenue targets set by senior leadership.  • Develop and execute a regional business development strategy aligned with corporate objectives.  • Maintain a proactive pipeline of prospects and close deals. Key Responsibilities:  • Conduct market analysis to uncover emerging trends and competitive landscape.  • Build and sustain relationships with key stakeholders, including distributors, installers, and facility managers.  • Negotiate and finalize contracts, ensuring adherence to company pricing and margin guidelines.  • Collaborate cross‑functionally with product, engineering, and service teams to tailor solutions to client needs.  • Prepare and deliver strategic presentations, proposals, and sales reports to internal and external audiences. Required Skills:  • Proven track record in B2B sales and business development within the construction or infrastructure industry.  • Strong negotiation, communication, and presentation abilities.  • Analytical mindset with data‑driven decision making.  • Ability to operate independently and prioritize multiple initiatives in a fast‑paced environment.  • Fluency in English; additional languages are an asset. Required Education & Certifications:  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Engineering, or a related field.  • MBA or equivalent business qualification preferred.  • Industry certifications related to lifts/escalators or project management (e.g., PMP, Certified Elevator Consultant) are advantageous.
