Job Description: Job Title: Project Manager Automation (M/F) Role Summary: Lead the design, integration, and commissioning of a high‑value automated production zone in an industrial setting, ensuring functional and regulatory compliance while delivering projects on time and within scope. Expectations: Deliver functional and technical specifications, manage supplier relations, validate risk analyses and safety certifications, and report progress to senior management. Key Responsibilities: - Analyze user requirements and translate them into functional and technical specifications. - Define automated and robotic equipment specifications. - Lead technical studies and coordinate with suppliers and system integrators. - Validate deliverables: functional analyses, risk assessments, flow studies, and training plans. - Ensure compliance with CE, ATEX, ISO 12100, and machine‑safety standards. - Plan and monitor FAT/SAT milestones, commissioning, and qualification activities. - Integrate solutions into overarching supervision, MES, and traceability systems. - Provide regular progress reports to management. Required Skills: - Project management experience in industrial automation or robotic line integration. - Proficiency with industrial PLCs (Siemens, Schneider, Rockwell, etc.). - Hands‑on knowledge of industrial robots (ABB, Fanuc, KUKA, Yaskawa, UR). - Experience with SCADA/SCADA, MES, and supervisory systems. - Strong understanding of machine‑safety standards and ATEX compliance. - Ability to perform risk analysis and functional safety documentation. - Autonomous, precise, and able to lead technical teams. - Professional proficiency in English (technical documentation and supplier communication). Required Education & Certifications: - Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Automation, Robotics, Mechatronics, Industrial Engineering or equivalent. - Relevant certifications in project management (PMP, PRINCE2) and/or functional safety (ISO 13849, IEC 61508) preferred.
