**Job Title:** Operational Excellence Project Manager
**Role Summary:**
Lead and manage cross‑functional improvement projects across a global travel retail portfolio. Drive the PMO, coordinate international teams, pilot innovation initiatives, and deliver documentation, training, and post‑implementation reviews to enhance store performance and operational efficiency.
**Expectations:**
- Deliver measurable performance gains and ROI for retail operations.
- Proactively identify and expand project scope across multiple markets.
- Foster a culture of continuous improvement and data‑driven decision making.
- Act as a trusted liaison between corporate stakeholders and country teams.
**Key Responsibilities:**
- Establish project governance, schedule, and reporting structures; manage workstreams across Operations, IT, Finance, and other functions.
- Plan, execute, and evaluate pilot programs using test‑and‑learn methodology; define KPIs, assess impact, and recommend go/no‑go decisions.
- Produce deployment documentation: standard operating procedures, best‑practice guides, training materials, webinars, and executive summaries.
- Support country teams in operational rollout, providing on‑site coaching and troubleshooting.
- Promote initiatives through presentations, seminars, and external communication channels.
- Lead the Global Innovation Community, facilitating knowledge sharing, workshops, and idea generation across regions.
- Conduct market and technology surveillance, attending trade shows and maintaining competitive intelligence.
- Champion an experimentation mindset, encouraging risk‑taking within a controlled framework.
**Required Skills:**
- Strong project management experience (PMO, milestone management, risk & change control).
- Expertise in process documentation and quality improvement tools.
- Cross‑functional stakeholder engagement and conflict resolution.
- Proficiency in Excel, PowerPoint, and project management software (e.g., MS Project, Asana, JIRA).
- Fluency in English (verbal and written); French is an asset.
- Comfortable working on the ground and traveling internationally.
- Curiosity, agility, and effective communication across all levels.
**Required Education & Certifications:**
- Master’s degree in Management, Engineering, Operations, or related field.
- Minimum 5 years of retail or operations project experience.
- Certifications such as PMP, Lean Six Sigma, or Agile (Scrum Master) highly preferred.
