Job title: VP Infrastructure and Security
Role Summary: Lead the design, implementation, and evolution of a secure, scalable, cloud‑native infrastructure supporting an AI‑driven trading platform. Drive DevSecOps, security strategy, compliance, and team growth to enable rapid, secure product delivery.
Expactations: • Deliver holistic IT security and infrastructure strategy at a global scale. • Maintain compliance with ISO 27001, SOC 2, GDPR, HIPAA, and other applicable standards. • Build a culture of security‑first and AI‑first engineering practices. • Expand and mentor high‑performance Security and DevOps teams.
Key Responsibilities:
1. **Security Leadership** – Define strategy, policies, frameworks; conduct risk assessments, threat modeling, vulnerability management; oversee incident response, monitoring, and compliance.
2. **DevOps & Infrastructure** – Own CI/CD pipelines, deployment automation, scalable cloud architecture (AWS/Azure/GCP); partner with data science for AI/ML workloads; implement monitoring, logging, alerting, SRE practices, disaster recovery.
3. **Leadership & Strategy** – Align platform services with product verticals; collaborate with CTO/CISO; act as SME in board/client discussions; evaluate emerging tools and practices.
4. **Platform & Architecture Governance** – Set architectural standards, reference designs, conduct reviews, ensure scalability, resilience, maintainability.
5. **AI Productivity & Enablement** – Deploy and optimize AI coding assistants, build prompt libraries and automation workflows; train teams in AI adoption across development and ops.
6. **Innovation & Continuous Improvement** – Stay current on AI trends, champion automation, shift‑left security and QA practices, enhance developer efficiency and satisfaction.
Required Skills:
- 15+ years in IT security leadership, DevOps/SRE management.
- Deep expertise in cloud security and architecture (AWS, Azure, GCP).
- Proficiency in IAM, Zero Trust, SIEM, IDS/IPS.
- Experience with AI/ML platform support and GPU clusters (plus).
- Knowledge of SOC 2, ISO 27001, FedRAMP compliance.
- Strong leadership, stakeholder management, communication.
Required Education & Certifications:
- Advanced degree in Computer Science, Cybersecurity, or related field (preferred).
- Certifications: CISSP, CISM, CCSP, AWS Security Specialty, or equivalent.
- Proven record of building and scaling high‑performing teams.
