**Job title:** Supply Chain Analyst
**Role Summary:**
Responsible for maintaining supply chain master data in Syspro, generating analytical insights, and supporting demand planning, procurement, and inventory management. Provides data-driven recommendations to optimize purchasing, supplier performance, and operational costs while ensuring data integrity and compliance with system standards.
**Expectations:**
- Possess robust analytical and problem‑solving skills to translate data into actionable supply‑chain decisions.
- Demonstrate ownership and initiative in managing data quality, process improvements, and cross‑functional collaboration with buyers, engineering, and finance teams.
- Deliver accurate, timely reports and dashboards using Excel, Qlik Sense, or equivalent BI tools.
**Key Responsibilities:**
- Maintain and validate item master, supplier data, BOMs, routings, lead times, and pricing in Syspro.
- Generate, analyze, and circulate regular and ad‑hoc supply‑chain reports; develop dashboards for KPI tracking.
- Monitor and evaluate supplier delivery performance, purchase price variances, and inventory valuations.
- Identify and resolve data inconsistencies; implement controls to ensure ongoing master‑data integrity.
- Optimize Syspro usage, automate reporting, and streamline workflows; support system enhancement projects.
- Collaborate with engineering on BOM releases to identify errors before Syspro posting.
- Reconcile financial and operational data with finance to align cost drivers.
- Participate in cross‑functional continuous‑improvement initiatives and maintain strong communication across all levels.
**Required Skills:**
- Strong analytical thinking and data‑driven decision making.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel (pivot tables, advanced formulas).
- Hands‑on experience with ERP (Syspro required; other ERPs acceptable).
- Knowledge of BI tools for visualization (Qlik Sense preferred).
- Understanding of supply‑chain processes: demand planning, procurement, inventory, logistics, and financial implications.
- Effective cross‑functional collaboration and communication.
- Attention to detail, accuracy, and the ability to work independently.
**Required Education & Certifications:**
- Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Engineering, Business Administration, Finance, IT, or related field.
- Supply‑chain certification (e.g., CSCP/CPIM, CPSM, SCMP) is required; advanced degree is an asset.
