Job Description
Job title: Senior Account Executive Role Summary: Senior Account Executive drives revenue growth by selling technology‑centric banking solutions (payments, APIs, workflow automation) to mid‑market and enterprise customers. The role involves complex, multi‑touch sales cycles, deep technical understanding of payment mechanisms, and collaboration with cross‑functional teams to secure high‑value deals and onboard clients. Expectations: * Close high‑value accounts (mid‑market and large enterprises) with a focus on long sales cycles (≥6 months). * Deliver consistent new‑business pipeline, meeting or exceeding quarterly and annual sales targets. * Cultivate trust with senior financial and technical stakeholders (CFO, CEO, CTO) and become a strategic advisor on payment and treasury transformation. Key Responsibilities: * Prospect, qualify, and develop a portfolio of mid‑market and enterprise prospects. * Conduct consultative discovery, articulate technical value propositions, and design solutions tailored to client needs. * Lead full sales cycle: opportunity identification → solution design → proposal → negotiation → contract signing. * Manage contract negotiations, pricing, and terms with internal legal and finance teams. * Coordinate with product, compliance, and implementation teams to ensure smooth hand‑off and client onboarding. * Maintain accurate, up‑to‑date pipeline and forecasting in CRM. * Share market intelligence, best practices, and product feedback with the broader sales and product teams. Required Skills: * 5–8 years of B2B enterprise sales experience, preferably in fintech, payment service provider, or EME environment. * Proven track record selling APIs and integration products. * Deep knowledge of payment mechanisms (SEPA, Swift, SDD, FX) and ability to translate technical details into business value. * Skilled in managing long‑duration sales cycles (≥6 months) with multiple technical and executive stakeholders. * Strong communication, negotiation, and presentation abilities. * Self‑driven, results‑oriented, collaborative, and willing to mentor peers. * Proficiency with CRM (HubSpot or equivalent) and LinkedIn Sales Navigator. * Advanced written and spoken English; internal communications occur in English. Required Education & Certifications: * Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Information Technology, or related field. * Certifications in sales or product management (e.g., Certified Professional Sales Person, Certified ScrumMaster) are a plus but not mandatory.
