**Job Title** QA Internship **Role Summary** Support end‑to‑end quality assurance for new features and bug fixes within a cross‑functional Scrum team. Perform manual testing, collaborate with engineering, product, and design peers, contribute to bug backlog management, and drive quality improvements in a fast‑paced, iterative product development environment. **Expectations** - Engage fully in daily Scrum ceremonies (stand‑up, sprint planning, review, retrospective). - Deliver self‑directed testing work with minimal documentation. - Participate in weekly 1:1s with manager to track progress and identify growth opportunities. - Demonstrate a proactive, solution‑oriented mindset and strong ownership of tasks. **Key Responsibilities** 1. Design and execute manual test cases that reflect real‑user workflows for new features and fixes. 2. Review pull requests and provide constructive feedback on quality impact. 3. Collaborate with QA, development, product, and UX teams on UI, functionality, and specification validation. 4. Maintain and prioritize the bug backlog, ensuring timely closure of reported defects. 5. Identify and propose improvements to testing processes and risk mitigation strategies. 6. Participate in large‑scale initiatives, including new product launches and cross‑feature rollouts. 7. Attend all relevant team meetings to help advocate for quality across the squad. **Required Skills** - Strong attention to detail and thoroughness in testing. - Curiosity and creativity in envisioning edge use cases. - Ability to communicate clearly, ask clarifying questions, and work collaboratively. - Preference for solution‑oriented thinking over problem identification alone. - Ability to work independently and thrive in an evolving, fast‑paced environment. - Experience or familiarity with Jira and Confluence (preferred); visual collaboration tools acceptable. **Required Education & Certifications** - High school diploma or equivalent; Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical field preferred (no specific certifications required).
