Job Description
**Job title:** Machine Learning Engineer **Role Summary:** Design, build, and deploy scalable, production‑ready machine learning and generative AI solutions. Manage the full ML life cycle, from environment setup and model training to deployment, monitoring and maintenance, ensuring seamless integration with existing data pipelines and infrastructure. **Expectations:** * Translate research prototypes into enterprise‑grade services. * Apply software engineering best practices to deliver maintainable, reliable code. * Communicate complex technical concepts clearly to non‑technical stakeholders. * Collaborate cross‑functionally with data scientists, data engineers, software engineers and business owners. **Key Responsibilities:** 1. Define and evolve the data science platform, establishing tooling, best practices and ML engineering standards. 2. Automate the end‑to‑end data science workflow using CI/CD, IaC and container orchestration to enable fast, repeatable deployments. 3. Develop high‑quality Python code for model development, deployment and monitoring. 4. Participate in architecture and deployment strategy discussions, selecting appropriate modelling approaches. 5. Deploy models to cloud‑native services (Azure/Kubernetes/Databricks) and maintain them in regulated environments (finance/insurance). 6. Work with LLMs, generative or agentic AI experiences as required. **Required Skills:** * Proven experience as a data scientist or ML engineer in a business setting. * Advanced Python programming and professional software engineering practices. * Strong understanding of core data science principles and ML pipelines. * Experience with containerization (Docker), Kubernetes and cloud deployment on Azure or similar. * Familiarity with VCS (git), CI/CD (Azure DevOps or equivalent) and project tracking tools (JIRA). * Ability to translate technical solutions for non‑technical audiences. * Prior deployment of production‑level ML models, ideally in regulated industries. * Exposure to LLMs, generative or agentic AI deployments is a plus. **Required Education & Certifications:** * Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Engineering or related field. * Certifications in cloud platforms (e.g., Azure, Kubernetes) or ML engineering are advantageous but not mandatory. ---
