Job Description

Job title: Director, Salesforce Engineering (CRM) Role Summary: Lead the design, implementation, and scale of a multi‑org Salesforce CRM platform, driving AI‑augmented automation and integrations to support enterprise sales, service, marketing, and operational functions. Own platform strategy, architectural integrity, and a high‑performance engineering organization that delivers continuous value. Expactations: Deliver a clear, long‑term platform vision aligned with the Agentic Enterprise paradigm; achieve measurable improvements in automation revenue, data quality, and system performance; scale the engineering team through hiring, mentorship, and cultural transformation; ensure architectural governance, security, and observability across the global environment. Key Responsibilities: - Define multi‑year technical vision, roadmap, and AI‑drive use‑case pipeline for the Salesforce ecosystem. - Architect a scalable, secure, and performant multi‑org environment, including AI agent orchestration, data foundation, and observability. - Manage enterprise‑wide AI governance, data layer (Data 360, Clean Rooms), and semantic translation for agentic capabilities. - Oversight of third‑party System Integrators: validate deliverables against architectural standards and ensure quality outcomes. - Build, lead, and grow an engineering organization focused on continuous innovation, including new roles such as AI Agent Orchestrator and Prompt Engineer. - Integrate AI tools into the software development lifecycle, enhancing release speed and quality. Required Skills: - Deep expertise in Salesforce architecture, integration, and data management. - Proven experience with AI/ML integration and orchestration within enterprise platforms. - Strong leadership, hiring, and mentorship capabilities for scaling engineering teams. - Ability to translate business strategy into actionable technology roadmaps. - Knowledge of security, governance, and observability best practices for large‑scale SaaS environments. - Effective stakeholder communication across executive, technical, and business units. Required Education & Certifications: - Bachelor’s or higher degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field. - Salesforce Administrator, Advanced Developer, or equivalent certifications; additional AI/ML or Salesforce platform certifications preferred.
