Job Description
**Job Title:** Head of Physical Security **Role Summary:** Senior leader reporting to the CISO, responsible for the design, implementation, and oversight of the company’s physical security and risk management programs across the United States. Drives policy development, operational excellence, incident response, and employee safety while aligning security initiatives with corporate objectives. **Expectations:** * Deliver a cohesive physical security strategy that meets evolving threats, especially in financial services. * Maintain regulatory compliance, coordinate with executive leadership, and balance security with a positive employee experience. * Ensure readiness for emergencies, manage vendors, budget, and support on‑site event security. **Key Responsibilities:** * Develop and execute company‑wide physical security strategy in partnership with the CISO. * Advise senior leaders on security threats, regulatory changes, and risk mitigation. * Oversee daily security operations (guard services, access control, CCTV, alarms) across multiple U.S. sites. * Conduct security audits, vulnerability assessments, and remediation. * Manage contracts, budgets, vendor performance, and system operations. * Design and maintain emergency response, crisis management, and business continuity plans. * Lead incident response, coordinate with law enforcement, and report incidents. * Deliver training on emergency procedures, incident management, and security awareness. * Plan and execute security for corporate events, projects, and office buildouts. * Perform risk assessments for travel and events; support after‑hours response. **Required Skills:** * 10+ years in corporate security, law enforcement, or public safety; 5+ in security management. * Strong leadership, communication (written, verbal, presentation), and decision‑making. * Program management, budgeting, cross‑functional collaboration, detail‑oriented. * Customer‑service mindset balancing security needs with employee experience. * Ability to work after hours and travel for events. **Required Education & Certifications:** * Bachelor’s degree (any discipline). * Advanced security certifications preferred (CPP, PSP, CEM). * Experience with surveillance, access control, and alarm systems.
