Job Description
**Job Title:** Software Engineer **Role Summary:** Design, develop, test, and maintain ERP business‑logic components, enhancing system and process efficiency. Work with cross‑functional teams to deliver high‑quality, scalable software solutions. **Expectations:** - Execute all phases of the software development lifecycle. - Contribute to continuous improvement of development methodologies, tools, and best practices. - Deliver maintainable code and documentation that meets business and regulatory requirements. **Key Responsibilities:** - Analyze business requirements and produce detailed technical specifications. - Write, test, debug, and deploy code for ERP modules using PHP, SQL Server, and related technologies. - Automate report generation (Pentaho preferred) and enhance existing programs. - Develop scripts and participate in user acceptance testing. - Document design decisions, code changes, and recommend methodology or technology updates. - Maintain source code in Git and collaborate with peers, business analysts, and end users. **Required Skills:** - 1–3 years of software development experience. - Strong knowledge of systems analysis, software design, and object‑oriented programming. - Proficiency in PHP, Transact‑SQL, SQL Server, and SQL Stored Procedures. - Experience with HTML, JavaScript, XML, and Pentaho for reporting. - Familiarity with source‑control systems (Git). - Ability to test code for functionality and performance. - Excellent communication and teamwork skills; able to work across multiple departments with unique requirements. **Required Education & Certifications:** - Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related field. - No specific certifications required.
