Job Description
**Job Title** AI/ML Developer **Role Summary** Design, develop, train, evaluate, and deploy machine learning models and AI solutions for U.S. Government systems. Ensure models meet DoD cybersecurity, RMF, and responsible AI standards, manage the entire model lifecycle, and integrate solutions into secure DevSecOps pipelines. **Expectations** - Structured, independent work with clear goals. - Accurate, consistent documentation and traceability of AI artifacts. - Self‑motivated to meet deadlines and grow into greater responsibility. - Willingness to collaborate across government and contractor teams in a fast‑paced environment. **Key Responsibilities** - Design, develop, train, and evaluate ML models using TensorFlow, PyTorch, or scikit‑learn. - Prepare data, engineer features, and integrate data into AI pipelines. - Manage model lifecycle: versioning, documentation, performance monitoring, and reproducibility. - Ensure compliance with DoD cybersecurity, RMF, and responsible AI policies. - Support accreditation, security assessment, and integration of AI components into classified environments. - Conduct system tests, document results, and verify operability against standards. - Collaborate in DevSecOps: CI/CD pipelines with Jenkins and GitLab, API integration, and cloud deployments. - Apply Agile Test‑Driven development practices and integrate with DoW/DoD DevSecOps environments. **Required Skills** - ≥5 years experience in AI/ML development (design, training, evaluation). - Proficiency in Python and other languages (SQL, Java, C++). - Strong knowledge of supervised/unsupervised learning, model evaluation, feature engineering. - Experience with relational databases, RESTful APIs, and system integration. - ≥5 years experience with Jenkins and GitLab; ≥5 years CI/CD in software development. - Familiarity with web‑app testing and Agile TDD. - Practical experience developing in cloud environments. - Ability to integrate data from unclassified to classified systems. **Required Education & Certifications** - Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field (Master’s may substitute 2 additional years of experience). - ≥7 years total experience in the functional area. - U.S. citizen with an active TS/SCI clearance.
