Job Description
**Job Title:** People & Culture Trainee **Role Summary:** Support the HR function of two lifestyle hotels by assisting recruitment, onboarding, HR administration, employee engagement, and compliance activities. Provide operational support for HR software, health & safety, training, and employee accommodation while fostering a positive workplace culture. **Expectations:** - Deliver timely HR support across the employee lifecycle. - Maintain confidentiality and adhere to EU labor regulations. - Contribute to a collaborative, fast‑paced team environment. - Communicate effectively in English and Spanish. **Key Responsibilities:** - Assist in recruitment and selection processes to attract diverse talent. - Support onboarding, orientation, and employee integration activities. - Manage HRIS data entry and optimization for operational efficiency. - Aid health & safety (PRL) initiatives and ensure compliance. - Coordinate training and development programs. - Oversee employee accommodation logistics. - Provide administrative support for payroll, benefits, and compliance reporting. - Drive employee engagement through internal communications, events, and culture programs. - Address employee relations queries and provide guidance to managers. **Required Skills:** - Fluency in English and Spanish (additional languages a plus). - Strong knowledge of HR best practices and EU labor laws. - Excellent interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills. - Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Outlook; familiarity with Canva or similar design tools. - Analytical mindset with problem‑solving abilities. - Ability to handle confidential information with discretion. - Collaborative attitude in a dynamic, hospitality‑focused environment. **Required Education & Certifications:** - Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in Hospitality, Business Administration, Human Resources, or a related field. - EU citizenship (required). - No specific certifications required; HR‑related coursework or certifications are a plus.
