Job Description: Job Title: Software Engineer I Role Summary: Entry‑level software engineer responsible for developing cloud‑based and mobile solutions in the multifamily industry, leveraging AI‑assisted tools for rapid iteration, high quality code, and efficient testing. Must integrate IoT devices and maintain secure, performant communication between devices and cloud services. Expectations: • 0‑2 years of software development experience with high‑level languages. • Strong AI‑first mindset and hands‑on experience with AI coding assistants or agentic AI. • Ability to learn and adopt new AI tools quickly. • Comfortable working in fast‑paced, cross‑functional teams. Key Responsibilities: - Design, develop, test, and deploy cloud‑based and mobile applications using AI‑assisted coding workflows. - Collaborate with senior engineers on feature design and rapid prototyping. - Integrate, configure, and test IoT hardware (smart locks, sensors, switches), ensuring reliable, secure communication via MQTT/Wi‑Fi. - Maintain configuration management, documentation, and AI‑generated artifacts with human validation. - Perform root‑cause analysis and debugging, using AI diagnostics to resolve issues efficiently. - Advocate for end‑user experience and propose improvements. - Adapt to evolving AI development tools, frameworks, and processes. - Support on‑site installations and troubleshooting when required.
