**Job Title:** Account Executive **Role Summary:** Support account teams in developing and executing PR strategies for technology‑focused clients (AI, cybersecurity, healthcare, wellness, legal tech). Create and distribute press materials, manage media relations, conduct audits, and identify emerging story opportunities to position clients as industry thought leaders. **Expectations:** - 1–2 years of PR experience, preferably with B2B/tech, AI, cybersecurity, healthcare, wellness, or legal clients. - Consistently secure coverage in business and technology media. - Maintain high‑quality written output and meet tight deadlines in a fast‑paced environment. - Demonstrate proactive, detail‑oriented, and solution‑focused work habits. **Key Responsibilities:** - Draft and edit pitches, press releases, briefing documents, bylined content, and social media copy. - Conduct media audits to uncover coverage gaps and growth opportunities. - Build and upkeep master media lists targeting business, tech, healthcare, cybersecurity, and legal outlets. - Monitor news and trends to generate story ideas and identify white‑space for new categories. - Execute media outreach and nurture relationships with key journalists. - Manage conference speaking and awards programs: track deadlines, recommend opportunities, and write submissions. - Participate in internal and client brainstorming sessions. **Required Skills:** - Strong writing and editing abilities across multiple media verticals. - Proven success securing coverage in business and technology press. - Proficiency with Google Workspace and media databases (e.g., Cision, Muck Rack). - Excellent verbal communication and pitch tailoring. - Ability to analyze trends and craft innovative story angles. - Organizational and time‑management skills; comfortable juggling multiple projects. - Curiosity about emerging technologies and ability to spot early‑stage stories. - Influencer relations and digital media experience (preferred, not required). **Required Education & Certifications:** - Bachelor’s degree in Public Relations, Communications, Journalism, Marketing, or related field (or equivalent experience). - No specific certifications required; professional development in media relations or PR tools is a plus.
