**Job Title** Business Development Representative **Role Summary** Execute outbound prospecting to SMB merchants, qualify leads, and schedule meetings for sales managers. Maintain accurate CRM data and refine outreach strategies to meet daily/weekly targets. **Expectations** - Achieve daily outbound call and email volume goals. - Secure qualified appointments for sales managers. - Continuously improve scripts and tactics based on results and coaching. - Provide insights on merchant feedback and competitive landscape. **Key Responsibilities** - Conduct outbound cold calls and email campaigns to generate interest in Flatpay’s payment solution. - Qualify leads by assessing merchant needs and readiness to engage. - Book on‑site meetings or demos for senior sales management. - Log all activities, outcomes, and data updates in the CRM with high accuracy. - Analyze outreach performance, iterate scripts, and apply coaching to enhance conversion. - Share feedback on merchant responses, competitor insights, and pitch effectiveness. **Required Skills** - High energy, persistence, and positive attitude toward cold outreach. - Strong verbal and written persuasion skills; quick rapport building. - Metrics‑driven mindset with comfort meeting daily/weekly targets. - Receptive to feedback and keen to learn sales best practices. - Excellent multitasking, time‑management, and organizational abilities in a fast‑paced environment. - Fluent in English (both written and spoken). - Right to work in the UK. **Required Education & Certifications** - Minimum high school diploma or equivalent. - 1–2 years of customer‑facing role (e.g., customer support, retail, telesales). - No specific certifications required.
