Job Description: Job Title: Automation Engineer (F/M) Role Summary Design, develop, and commission industrial automation systems for special-purpose machines. Build PLC architecture, program industrial robots, create HMI interfaces, and configure machine axes. Perform functional analysis, write technical documentation, and oversee integration and testing both in workshops and on customer sites. Expectations * Minimum 5 years of hands‑on experience in special machine environments. * Proven expertise in PLC programming for Schneider Electric (Control Expert), Beckhoff (TwinCAT), and Siemens (TIA Portal). * Experience programming industrial robots (FANUC, STAUBLI, KUKA). * Ability to develop and maintain HMI applications on commercial industrial platforms. * Strong skills in functional analysis, technical documentation, and electrical specification drafting. * Familiarity with industrial vision systems (Keyence, Cognex). * Capability to lead technical teams or coordinate subcontractors. Key Responsibilities 1. Define PLC and robot architecture and author functional analysis documents. 2. Program and debug PLCs on Schneider Electric, Beckhoff, and Siemens platforms. 3. Develop robot control programs for FANUC, STAUBLI, and KUKA robots. 4. Create and integrate industrial HMI interfaces. 5. Configure machine axes, motion controls, and peripheral equipment. 6. Ensure machine integration meets performance, cost, and schedule targets. 7. Conduct on‑site and workshop testing, prepare acceptance reports, and perform commissioning. 8. Draft electrical cabinet specifications for subcontractors and manage technical follow‑up. 9. Coordinate technical activities and provide leadership to on‑site or outsourced teams.
