Job Description
Job Title: Contract Engineer Role Summary: Oversee the preparation, negotiation, and administration of all contracts during Pre‑project and FEED phases, with potential involvement in EPC contracts. Act as a key liaison between technical, commercial, and project control teams to ensure contract compliance, risk mitigation, and alignment with project objectives. Expectations: - Deliver comprehensive contract management for the CCFT FEED Contract and subsequent execution contracts. - Support the CCFT Manager in technical and commercial clarifications and the Engineering Manager in execution activities. - Coordinate contract-related activities for all small contracts and manage variation, claims, and dispute processes. Key Responsibilities: - Manage and document the CCFT FEED Contract and preparation of execution contracts. - Facilitate clarification meetings and provide technical/commercial support to CCFT and engineering teams. - Ensure all tenders, contract activities, and procedures comply with regulations, TTE rules, and internal procedures. - Prepare contract procedures, negotiate terms, and draft RTA documents. - Assist Project Control Manager with small contract placement and contract‑related tasks. - Maintain variation register and support claims, disputes, and negotiation processes. - Advise Project Control Manager and Project Manager on contract administration matters. Required Skills: - Extensive contract negotiation and administration experience. - Strong understanding of project CFT processes and risk management. - Proficiency with Ariba for sourcing and contract storage. - Advanced Microsoft Office skills. - Excellent communication and stakeholder management.
