Job Description
**Job Title:** NExT Summer Intern – VFX Production **Role Summary:** Assist and support the VFX Production team, gaining exposure to the visual‑effects pipeline, processes, and industry standards. Participate in scheduling, session preparation, documentation, and special projects while developing professional skills through workshops and guest speakers. **Expectations:** - Full‑time, 40‑hour weeks for a 10‑week term (approx. June–August). - Remote participation; must be based in Ontario. - Maintain high levels of organization, collaboration, and communication with team members and stakeholders. **Key Responsibilities:** - Schedule and coordinate VFX production activities. - Prepare review sessions and take detailed notes. - Deliver daily administrative support and assist with special projects. - Shadow VFX team members to observe pipeline and creative workflows. - Participate in cohort‑based curriculum: workshops, speaker series, and career development sessions. **Required Skills:** - Strong attention to detail and organizational abilities. - Effective written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills. - Ability to collaborate within a team environment and interact across all organization levels. - Adaptability and problem‑solving capabilities. - Familiarity with ShotGrid, FrameIO, RV, FileMaker, and Microsoft Office applications is a plus. **Required Education & Certifications:** - Current enrolment or recent completion of a program in film, media, visual effects, or a related field. (No specific degree or certification required.)
