Job Description

**Job Title:** Software Engineer III **Role Summary:** Mid‑to‑senior individual contributor responsible for designing, developing, and operating cloud‑native production software. Works primarily with C# services on Microsoft Azure, integrates data pipelines via Databricks, and delivers customer‑facing features using React. Operates autonomously, owns product areas end‑to‑end, and ensures technical quality through design, testing, and collaboration. **Expectations:** - Deliver high‑quality, well‑tested code with minimal supervision. - Own feature lifecycle from design through production support. - Maintain system reliability via integration tests and CI/CD pipelines. - Communicate clearly with cross‑functional teams and resolve production issues promptly. **Key Responsibilities:** - Design, implement, and maintain backend services in C# within Azure. - Develop and enhance frontend components using React (or similar frameworks). - Integrate services with Databricks/Spark for data processing and analytics. - Create and sustain integration test suites covering end‑to‑end workflows. - Contribute to CI/CD pipelines and shared testing frameworks. - Perform code reviews and enforce best‑practice standards. - Diagnose and fix performance, reliability, and data consistency problems in production. - Collaborate with product, UX, and other engineering teams to translate requirements into scalable solutions. **Required Skills:** - 4–7 years of professional software engineering experience. - Proficient in C# (or Java) for production systems. - Hands‑on experience with Microsoft Azure services and deployment. - Strong knowledge of React (or Vue.js/modern frontend frameworks). - Familiarity with Databricks, Apache Spark, or large‑scale data processing platforms. - Solid understanding of APIs, data modeling, and distributed system fundamentals. - Experience writing and maintaining integration tests for service‑based architectures. - Ability to work independently and within collaborative teams. - Excellent problem‑solving, written, and verbal communication skills. **Required Education & Certifications:** - Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related technical field (or equivalent practical experience). - Preferred: Microsoft Azure certification (e.g., Azure Developer Associate) or similar cloud credentials.
