Job Description

Job Title: Senior Salesforce Developer Role Summary: Lead the design, development, and support of custom Salesforce applications and APIs for federal programs. Focus on Apex, Lightning Web Components, and integration frameworks to build scalable, secure, and high‑performance solutions. Provide hands‑on engineering and production support in a fast‑paced, mission‑critical environment. Expectations: - Deliver coding solutions that meet functional, performance, and security requirements. - Consistently maintain code quality, adhere to governance policies, and keep up with Salesforce platform changes. - Communicate effectively with product, operations, and federal program stakeholders. - Maintain active U.S. citizenship and comply with security clearance requirements. Key Responsibilities: - Build and maintain custom Salesforce applications, Apex classes, triggers, and Lightning Web Components. - Design, version, and support proprietary REST/SOAP APIs and service layers. - Develop integration frameworks using Apex, LWC, Platform Events, and asynchronous patterns. - Troubleshoot and resolve production incidents (API failures, data issues, performance bottlenecks). - Conduct root‑cause analysis and implement durable fixes. - Optimize systems for high‑volume transactions, concurrent users, and long‑running processes. - Enforce secure coding standards and API governance. - Collaborate with cross‑functional teams on service design, enhancements, and incident response. Required Skills: - Minimum 7 years of hands‑on Salesforce development experience. - Advanced Apex and Lightning Web Components expertise. - Proven ability to build and support custom APIs and integrations. - Strong understanding of Salesforce limits, performance tuning, and secure design. - Experience with production support, incident management, and root‑cause analysis. - Excellent problem‑solving, communication, and organizational skills. Required Education & Certifications: - B.S. in Computer Science or related field (or equivalent experience). - Salesforce Platform Developer I/II certification required. - Active U.S. citizenship; security clearance preferred.
