**Job Title:** DevOps Engineer
**Role Summary:**
Design, implement, and maintain CI/CD pipelines and related tooling across a large, cloud‑native organization. Modernise legacy systems, automate provisioning, and collaborate with developers to improve build, test, and release workflows.
**Expectations:**
- Deliver end‑to‑end CI/CD solutions that boost velocity, stability, and developer satisfaction.
- Own entire pipeline lifecycle: design, install, configure, migrate, and upgrade tools.
- Operate autonomously while aligning with platform and development teams.
**Key Responsibilities:**
- Install, configure, and maintain enterprise CI/CD tools (Jenkins, GitHub Enterprise, Nexus/Artifactory, SonarQube).
- Lead modernization and migration projects (e.g., Jenkins → GitHub Actions, repository restructuring, pipeline standardization).
- Build scalable, cloud‑native CI/CD infrastructure using Terraform, Helm, and automation frameworks.
- Develop scripts and automation for provisioning, integration, and cross‑team convergence.
- Partner with developers and platform teams to enhance build, test, and release workflows.
- Focus on workflow engineering and automation; minimize operational infra support.
- Operate independently to deliver solutions that increase velocity, stability, and developer satisfaction.
**Required Skills:**
- Strong DevOps mindset with full‑stack fundamentals.
- Hands‑on experience building and automating CI/CD pipelines at scale.
- Proficiency with Jenkins, GitHub Enterprise/Actions, Nexus/Artifactory, SonarQube.
- Expertise in IaC/tools: Terraform, Helm, Kubernetes (preferred).
- Scripting: Groovy, Bash, Python, YAML.
- Familiarity with Java (or similar) is a plus.
- Ability to plan, run migrations, and consolidate tooling independently.
- Passion for automation, clean engineering practices, and improving developer experience.
**Required Education & Certifications:**
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field (or equivalent work experience).
- Relevant DevOps or cloud certifications (e.g., AWS Certified DevOps Engineer, Azure DevOps Engineer, Google Cloud Professional DevOps Engineer) are a plus.
