**Job Title** A&R Research Intern **Role Summary** Conduct data‑driven research on emerging music talent, analyze streaming and social media metrics (Spotify, TikTok, Instagram), review Billboard charts, and identify trends to support A&R decision‑making. **Expectations** * Work part‑time (up to 20 hrs/wk) during the Summer Internship (June 2 – Aug 14). * Deliver monthly insights reports and trend summaries to the A&R team. * Attend weekly team meetings and contribute research findings. **Key Responsibilities** * Scrutinize Spotify, TikTok, and Instagram data to pinpoint up‑and‑coming artists. * Review Billboard charts and recent major releases for unsigned writers. * Track Concord artist releases to gauge writer momentum. * Research and propose new analytics solutions for music publishing, especially TikTok and country‑genre metrics. * Perform broad data analyses to spot emerging industry trends. **Required Skills** * Strong analytical and quantitative skills. * Proficiency with data analysis tools (Excel, SQL, or similar). * Familiarity with music streaming platforms and social media metrics. * Ability to synthesize data into clear, actionable insights. **Required Education & Certifications** * Currently enrolled or recently graduated from a college/university program (Music, Data Science, Business, or related field). * No specific certifications required.
