Job Description
**Job Title:** Senior Project Manager **Role Summary:** Lead end‑to‑end delivery of hardware and new product development (NPD) projects in a structured stage‑gate environment. Manage multiple projects with budgets of £1m–£3m, ensuring timely, on‑scope, on‑budget launch of new UI programmes across the product portfolio. Coordinate with engineering, manufacturing, product management, supply chain, and global partners, driving governance, risk, change control, and continuous PMO improvement. **Expectations:** * Successfully deliver new UI programmes within 6–12 months. * Build strong cross‑functional relationships with Engineering, Product Management, Manufacturing, and Supply Chain. * Demonstrate effective budget ownership and cost control. **Key Responsibilities:** * Own full product lifecycle from concept to post‑launch support. * Plan, execute, and monitor project milestones, budgets, and risks using stage‑gate framework. * Manage multiple concurrent projects, including CAPEX planning. * Engage weekly with manufacturing partners and suppliers; coordinate with site teams. * Lead governance, risk management, and change control processes. * Contribute to PMO framework enhancements. * Produce and maintain project documentation in Jira and Confluence. * Collaborate with globally dispersed teams; travel as required. **Required Skills:** * Degree in Engineering or equivalent engineering experience. * Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings. * Background in hardware NPD and familiarity with firmware and manufacturing engineering. * Proven budget management (£1m–£3m). * Strong change control and cost management capabilities. * Proficient in Jira and Confluence (board navigation, reporting). * Excellent stakeholder management and influencing skills. * Experience working with dispersed global teams and willingness to travel. **Required Education & Certifications:** * Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (electrical, mechanical, or related field) or equivalent professional experience. * No mandatory certifications listed, but industry project management certifications (PMP, PRINCE2, etc.) are advantageous.
