Job Description
**Job Title:** Regional Sales Manager (Sales Representative) **Role Summary:** Lead commercial development for a portfolio of retail stores across DIY (GSB) and specialty (GSS) channels. Implement negotiated agreements, grow client business, ensure brand visibility, manage promotions, and drive in‑store performance through training and merchandising support. **Expectations:** - Achieve sales targets and promotional ROI for assigned categories. - Maintain optimal stock levels and eliminate out‑of‑stock situations. - Provide accurate daily CRM reporting and market intelligence. - Manage allocated budget and merchandising assets effectively. **Key Responsibilities:** - Enforce commercial agreements and associated terms with customers. - Advise retailers on assortment, shelf space, pricing, and promotional levers. - Ensure placement of negotiated SKUs and “Power” SKUs. - Optimize product visibility and stock availability in stores. - Plan, execute, and monitor promotional actions to meet peak‑period goals. - Deliver daily sales and activity reports via CRM; circulate relevant information internally. - Conduct in‑store competitive analysis and share insights. - Oversee budgeted resources (fixtures, in‑store displays, digital assets). - Train and coach retail contacts on product knowledge, market trends, and shelf‑management best practices. **Required Skills:** - Strong persuasive and negotiation abilities. - Team‑oriented mindset with excellent collaboration skills. - Highly organized, detail‑oriented, and able to work autonomously. - Analytical mindset for reporting and competitive monitoring. - Effective communication and presentation skills. **Required Education & Certifications:** - Bachelor’s degree (Bac +5) in Business, Marketing, or related field; preferably from a commerce school. - Relevant internship or entry‑level experience in large‑format retail or consumer goods preferred. - Alignment with Newell’s core values: integrity, teamwork, winning spirit, ownership, leadership.
