**Job Title**
Business Intelligence Analyst
**Role Summary**
Serve as the strategic liaison among Finance, HR, and Technology to design, build, and maintain Workday reports, dashboards, and security configurations. Deliver actionable analytics and ensure data governance, system integrity, and regulatory compliance across the organization.

**Key Responsibilities**
- Design, develop, and maintain simple to complex Workday reports and dashboards using Report Writer, Report Designer, and calculated fields.
- Provide metrics, trends, KPIs, and analytical insights to executive and operational decision‑makers.
- Support and document existing custom reports; conduct impact analysis for Workday releases and recommend necessary changes.
- Manage data retention strategies, historical reporting capabilities, and ensure compliance with data privacy standards.
- Configure and optimize Workday modules and plug‑ins (e.g., Adaptive).
- Oversee system integrations across HR and business applications; troubleshoot incidents and implement enhancements.
- Serve as subject‑matter expert on Workday system hierarchies, structure, and reporting frameworks.
- Administer Workday security: define domain policies, roles, role assignments, and perform regular audits of access logs and segregation of duties.
- Coordinate with vendors on new technology scope, security features, and system upgrades.
- Maintain compliance with regulatory requirements (e.g., Detailed Gaming Regulations) and licensing obligations.
- Partner with Finance, HR, IT, and operational leaders to evaluate and implement system enhancements and process improvements.
- Collaborate with Workday support teams to develop communication, training, and change‑management plans; measure and improve training effectiveness.
- Deliver user support and create educational materials to promote best practices.
**Required Skills**
- Expert knowledge of Workday reporting tools (Report Writer, Report Designer, calculated fields).
- Strong analytical and data visualization skills; experience developing KPIs and trend analysis.
- Proficiency in Workday security administration: domain policies, roles, role assignments, audit logs.
- Experience managing Workday integrations and troubleshooting system incidents.
- Familiarity with data governance, data retention, and regulatory compliance (e.g., DGRs).
- Excellent documentation, communication, and stakeholder management abilities.
- Ability to produce clear, actionable insights for executive and operational audiences.
**Required Education & Certifications**
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Information Systems, or related field (or equivalent experience).
- Workday Certified Professional – Reporting & Analytics or equivalent certification preferred.
- Experience in a regulated industry (e.g., gaming) and knowledge of relevant compliance standards is an asset.
