Job Description
Job title: IT Security Analyst Role Summary: Conducts initial triage and investigation of security incidents, monitors alerts from SIEM and internal security tools, and supports vulnerability management and patching activities. Provides assistance to ServiceDesk for security‑related tickets, documents security procedures, and enforces compliance with company policies. Expactations: Deliver consistent, accurate incident analysis; maintain up‑to‑date documentation; communicate findings concisely; challenge non‑compliant practices; provide coverage for the Security Manager when required. Key Responsibilities: - Perform triage and investigation of security alerts from SIEM and SoC. - Monitor real‑time security alerts and events. - Participate in vulnerability assessment, patch management, and CASB/web filtering change review. - Update and maintain security documentation and procedures. - Manage security operations mailbox and triage incoming alerts. - Assist ServiceDesk with tickets stemming from security misconfigurations or conflicts. - Conduct vendor platform and website compliance reviews. - Respond to client inquiries related to IT security. - Provide administrative support for security stack applications. - Cover for Security Manager during absences.
