Job Description
Job title: Supply Chain Manager Role Summary: Lead and coordinate all logistics activities at the plant, optimizing processes, cost structures, and staff planning while ensuring alignment with production and customer needs. Expectations: 3‑5 years in a logistics management role, proven record of process improvement, strong analytical and digital skills, ability to drive continuous improvement and lead a cross‑functional team. Key Responsibilities: - Coordinate all external and internal logistics movements (JIS/JIT). - Call off components, create inbound plans, and manage supplier communications. - Oversee flow from external warehouse, inventory, and cycle counting. - Resolve operational and logistics issues with customers and suppliers. - Forecast planning, manage additional orders, and ensure accurate invoicing. - Maintain and lead ERP use, implementing process changes. - Build and nurture business relationships with customers and suppliers. - Conduct process gap analysis, cost analysis, and implement improvements. - Install and manage shop floor communication systems. - Supervise logistics team: monitor hours, overtime, holiday planning, and annual performance reviews. - Lead continuous improvement initiatives; hold daily/weekly/monthly meetings and share best practices. Required Skills: - Master’s Degree in Logistics, Engineering, or related field (or equivalent experience). - 3‑5 years of logistics management experience with demonstrable flow/process improvements. - Strong analytical, IT/digitalization, and ERP proficiency. - Continuous improvement mindset (Lean, Six Sigma, Kaizen). - Excellent communication, teamwork, and customer‑focus. - Fluent in English and local language (Dutch). - Automotive industry exposure a plus. Required Education & Certifications: Master’s degree in Logistics, Engineering, or equivalent; certifications in Lean/Six Sigma preferred.
