Job Description
Job Title: Cyber Security Analyst Role Summary: Provide comprehensive cyber security oversight for a multi‑tenant IT environment, protecting data, services, and infrastructure across on‑premises and cloud platforms. Collaborate with IT and business stakeholders to implement security policies, run security monitoring tools, deliver awareness training, and support projects requiring security governance. Expactations: - Maintain and enhance the security posture of the organization’s systems and assets. - Execute daily monitoring, incident triage, remediation, and compliance tracking. - Serve as a security subject matter expert for strategic and operational initiatives. Key Responsibilities: • Administer and maintain security solutions, including Rapid7, Office 365, Azure AD, Meraki, and KnowBe4. • Design, configure, and support Microsoft & Linux environments and integrated WAN/LAN infrastructure. • Enforce industry‑best‑practice security configurations and policies across platforms. • Automate routine security tasks to improve efficiency and scalability. • Deliver security awareness and training to all employees via approved platforms. • Act as a trusted advisor on security‑related aspects of technology projects, ensuring alignment with company standards. • Collaborate with technical teams and business units to analyze threats and recommend controls. • Manage compliance tracking and reporting for internal and external audits. • Extend support to subsidiaries, traveling up to 10 % of the time as required. Required Skills: - In‑depth knowledge of Microsoft 365, Azure AD, Active Directory, and Meraki deployments. - Experience with Rapid7, KnowBe4, IAM, MFA, and threat‑intelligence tools. - Strong analytical and problem‑solving capabilities. - Ability to prioritize and manage multiple concurrent security projects. - Effective communication skills for cross‑functional collaboration. - Project‑management mindset with understanding of procurement and quality‑assurance processes. Required Education & Certifications: - Bachelor’s degree in Information Systems, Cyber Security, or related field (preferred). - Relevant certifications: Microsoft Certified: Azure Security Engineer Associate, Meraki Certified Network Associate (MCNA), or equivalent cloud/cybersecurity credentials. - ITIL Foundation or comparable IT service management certification (preferred).
