Job Title: OpenText Documentum Developer
Role Summary:
Design, develop, and support enterprise content management solutions using OpenText Documentum. Lead application development, REST API creation, and system migrations while ensuring high performance, security, and compliance across AWS‑based infrastructures.
Expectations:
- 7+ years of experience with Documentum (Content Server, D2 Config/Classic, D2 Smart View, Brava, CTS, xPlore, DFC Client).
- 2+ years building REST APIs with Spring Framework for ECM platforms.
- 5+ years coding in Java and Python.
- 3+ years working with AWS services (EC2, ECS, RDS, ALB, SSM, SQS, SNS, Lambda, SDK).
- Strong grasp of Documentum architecture, object model, and security.
- Proven ability to manage CI/CD pipelines (Git, Jenkins, Jira) and to adhere to Agile Scrum practices.
Key Responsibilities:
- Architect and implement Documentum applications and extensions, ensuring scalability and maintainability.
- Execute platform upgrades, data migrations, and performance tuning.
- Develop and expose RESTful services using Spring, integrating with Documentum and other ECM components.
- Build and maintain automated build, test, and deployment pipelines; enforce code coverage and security standards.
- Troubleshoot and optimize AWS deployments, review configurations, manage security policies, and analyze logs.
- Collaborate with cross‑functional teams, documenting technical solutions and providing clear communication to stakeholders.
- Participate in Agile ceremonies: sprint planning, backlog refinement, daily stand‑ups, retrospectives.
Required Skills:
- Documentum (D2, D2 Smart View, Brava, CTS, DFC) architecture and security.
- Java, Spring, REST, Python programming.
- Git, Jenkins, Jira, IntelliJ, Tomcat/J2EE, relational databases.
- AWS services (EC2, ECS, RDS, ALB, SSM, SQS, SNS, Lambda, SDK).
- Unit testing, code coverage, deployment, vulnerability management, system monitoring.
- Agile Scrum methodology.
Required Education & Certifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related discipline (or equivalent experience).
- Preferred certifications: AWS Certified Solutions Architect or Developer, OpenText/Documentum certification, Java SE certification.
