Job Description
**Job Title:** Server/Network Administrator **Role Summary:** Manage, maintain, and optimize enterprise network infrastructure and Windows Server environments, ensuring security, availability, and performance across multiple sites while supporting Microsoft 365 E5 services and end‑user connectivity. **Expectations:** - Provide Tier 2‑3 support for network and system issues. - Maintain accurate documentation and configuration records. - Participate in on‑call rotation and disaster‑recovery testing. - Collaborate with helpdesk, application teams, and project stakeholders. **Key Responsibilities:** - Configure and monitor Cisco routers, switches, firewalls, VPNs, LAN/WAN, VLANs, QoS, and Meraki cloud‑managed devices. - Implement network security policies, access controls, and firewall rules. - Administer Windows Server 2016/2019/2022 (AD, DNS, DHCP, GPO) and virtualization (Hyper‑V/VMware). - Manage patching, updates, backups, and system recovery procedures. - Administer Microsoft 365 E5 (Exchange, SharePoint, Teams, OneDrive, Security & Compliance) and Intune device management. - Support Azure AD sync, conditional access, and Microsoft Defender security solutions. - Conduct regular audits, vulnerability assessments, and compliance checks. - Assist in IT project planning, infrastructure upgrades, and documentation. **Required Skills:** - 5+ years in network or systems administration. - Cisco networking (CCNA‑level or higher) – routing, switching, VPN, security. - Experience with Meraki cloud management. - Windows Server administration and Active Directory expertise. - Proficiency with Microsoft 365 E5 and Azure AD. - Strong knowledge of TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VLANs, QoS, and firewall technologies. - Advanced troubleshooting and analytical abilities. **Required Education & Certifications:** - Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field **or** equivalent professional experience. - Cisco CCNA (minimum) certification. - Preferred: Cisco CCNP, Microsoft Certified: Azure Administrator, Microsoft Certified: Security, or equivalent.
