**Job Title** Summer Investment Intern – Quona Capital **Role Summary** A 10‑week, high‑impact investment internship focused on fintech opportunities across emerging markets. Interns will operate with regional investment teams (Africa & MENA, Asia) and collaborate with global platform teams to support deal sourcing, due diligence, valuation, and portfolio work. **Expectations** - Complete 10‑week internship with full engagement in investment processes. - Demonstrate self‑motivation, analytical rigor, and strong communication. - Deliver actionable insights within a distributed, fast‑paced environment. **Key Responsibilities** - Source and screen fintech investment opportunities and build a regional network. - Conduct business, financial, and technology due diligence to drive deals forward. - Develop and refine financial models and valuation analyses. - Perform thematic research and competitive intelligence in fintech sub‑sectors. - Support portfolio companies on short‑term operational projects and strategic initiatives. - Undertake additional projects as assigned by regional teams. **Required Skills** - Strong quantitative analysis and financial modeling proficiency. - Excellent English business writing and oral communication. - Ability to work independently and take initiative in a geographically distributed team. - Collaborative mindset, adaptability, curiosity, and resilience. - Familiarity with fintech ecosystems and investment analysis. **Required Education & Certifications** - Current enrollment in a top‑tier MBA or graduate program (or equivalent graduate degree). - Minimum of 3 years experience in investment evaluation, transaction execution, strategic improvement, or entrepreneurial launch—preferably within technology and/or financial services sectors.
