**Job Title**
Software Engineer – Studio Platform & Ops
**Role Summary**
Architect, develop, and maintain a cloud‑native platform used by industrial integrators to configure, deploy, and operate robotic AI solutions. Blend standardization, continuous improvement, and level‑2 technical support while ensuring production reliability through DevOps practices.
**Expactations**
- Deliver incremental, high‑quality enhancements to platform applications (reliability, performance, UX, diagnostics, access control).
- Implement R&D updates that affect existing products—compatibility, integrations, monitoring.
- Prototype non‑standard components or workflows to validate new integrations or features.
- Apply and evolve standard delivery and operational workflows (environments, deployments, checks, rollbacks).
- Support the Runtime team on encryption, configuration templates, and production automation.
- Diagnose and resolve level‑2 incidents, provide root‑cause analysis, corrective actions, or workarounds, and document findings for escalation.
- Maintain seamless inter‑app integration (auth, APIs, pipelines, sync).
- Manage user and organization onboarding: access privileges, training, pipeline setup, best‑practice guidance.
**Key Responsibilities**
- Enhance Studio cloud applications and underlying services.
- Create and maintain CI/CD pipelines, containerized builds, and automated tests.
- Operate and monitor infrastructure in a production environment.
- Collaborate with integrators and users to resolve technical issues and collect feedback.
- Write documentation for new features, incidents, and best practices.
- Engage in cross‑functional projects to align with Runtime and R&D teams.
**Required Skills**
- Strong Linux system administration and production‑grade deployment experience.
- Proficient in Python (scripting, tooling, testing).
- Experience with Docker & container orchestration.
- Familiarity with cloud APIs and services (public or private).
- Ability to troubleshoot and resolve API‑level and integration issues.
- Good communication and stakeholder engagement skills.
**Preferred Skills**
- DevOps fundamentals: CI/CD, containerization, cloud infrastructure management, monitoring, alerting.
- Networking and integration protocols: HTTP/REST, gRPC, webhooks, event‑driven patterns, OAuth/JWT.
- Packaging, version control, automated testing practices.
- Experience in B2B industrial environments (multi‑site deployments, integrator constraints).
**Required Education & Certifications**
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field.
- Valid technical certifications (e.g., AWS or Azure Cloud, Docker, Kubernetes) are a plus.
