Job Description
**Job Title:** Digital Marketing Manager **Role Summary:** Lead the planning, execution, and evaluation of digital marketing campaigns for a charity focused on horse racing industry welfare. Drive engagement across owned digital channels, support fundraising and awareness initiatives, and manage a small digital marketing team. **Expactations:** - Deliver measurable growth in digital engagement and brand awareness. - Launch and monitor multi‑channel campaigns that support fundraising goals. - Maintain high‑quality creative assets and website performance. - Mentor and develop a Digital Marketing Assistant. **Key Responsibilities:** - Plan, execute, and assess digital marketing and communication strategies across social media, email, and owned platforms. - Support the Head of Communications in expanding reach and consistency of messaging. - Line‑manage a Digital Marketing Assistant, providing coaching and performance feedback. - Produce engaging digital content: copy, graphics, videos for social media, website, and email. - Create and publish marketing materials (campaign assets, event programmes) using Adobe Creative Cloud, InDesign, and Canva. - Manage and enhance the charity’s website and other digital platforms; maintain HTML, SEO, and content optimization. - Plan and support awareness and fundraising campaigns through targeted digital communications. - Analyse performance data, generate insights, and recommend optimisations. - Attend industry, welfare, and fundraising events to capture content for digital channels. **Required Skills:** - Proven experience in digital marketing across multiple platforms (social media, email, website). - Strong creative and design skills; proficiency in Adobe Creative Cloud (including InDesign) and Canva. - Excellent copywriting, editing, and attention to detail. - Website management skills, including basic HTML and SEO/content optimisation. - Knowledge of digital analytics, reporting, and performance measurement. - Ability to prioritise, meet deadlines, and adapt in a fast‑paced environment. - Experience in line‑management or supervising a junior team member. **Required Education & Certifications:** - Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Digital Media, or related field preferred. - Relevant certifications in digital marketing, SEO, or analytics highly desirable. ---
