Job Description

**Job title** Onsite Manager – Onshore Wind **Role Summary** Lead day‑to‑day construction of a 100 MW + onshore wind farm in Ayrshire, Scotland. Responsible for managing large principal contractors, maintaining project HSE and quality standards, monitoring programme progress, and ensuring timely delivery of turbine supply (TSA) and balance‑of‑plant (BOP) works. **Expectations** - Deliver construction activities on schedule and within budget. - Maintain compliance with all HSE, quality, and regulatory requirements. - Provide effective site leadership and maintain high safety performance. **Key Responsibilities** - Oversee daily construction operations for a large‑scale onshore wind project. - Manage and coordinate principal contractors for turbine supply (TSA) and balance‑of‑plant (BOP) works. - Ensure compliance with project HSE standards and quality requirements. - Monitor programme progress and align works with the construction schedule. - Coordinate with the Owner’s Engineer and key project stakeholders. - Provide site leadership and ensure efficient, safe delivery of construction works. **Required Skills** - Proven experience as a Site Manager or Senior Site Manager on onshore wind construction projects. - Strong knowledge of wind farm construction (civil, electrical infrastructure, turbine installation). - Experience managing large contractors and multiple work packages on site. - Leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills. - Ability to manage HSE and quality control effectively. **Required Education & Certifications** - Minimum of a relevant degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or related field. - Current HSE and safety management certifications preferred (e.g., NEBOSH, IOSH, BSc in Construction). *Contract: Freelance / Contract, 2.5‑year duration, start April/May 2026.*
