Job Description
**Job Title:** Software Engineer **Role Summary:** Design, develop, and maintain internal and client‑facing applications for a private‑asset analytics firm. Deliver clean, scalable code on Microsoft Azure, support CI/CD pipelines, and integrate AI/ML components to enable data‑driven analytics. Collaborate with senior developers, technical leads, and business stakeholders throughout the software development lifecycle. **Expectations:** - Produce high‑quality, well‑documented code aligned with team standards. - Participate in full SDLC, from requirement analysis through testing, deployment, and ops. - Continuously improve processes, adopt emerging technologies, and mentor peers where appropriate. **Key Responsibilities:** 1. Develop, test, and maintain business applications and integrations. 2. Write and review maintainable, documented code in C#/.NET. 3. Translate business requirements into effective technical solutions. 4. Conduct and receive constructive code reviews. 5. Contribute to and manage CI/CD pipelines for reliable releases. 6. Build and maintain cloud solutions using Microsoft Azure (App Services, Functions, Key Vault). 7. Troubleshoot and resolve application issues, escalating critical problems. 8. Support AI/ML model deployment and data‑automation pipelines. 9. Optimize applications across development, deployment, and operations. 10. Stay current on industry best practices and propose innovations. **Required Skills:** - 3–5 years of software engineering experience. - Proficiency in C#/.NET and SQL Server. - Experience with Microsoft Azure (App Services, Functions, Key Vault). - Strong understanding of relational databases; knowledge of non‑relational databases is a plus. - Version control with Git and familiarity with CI/CD and automated testing. - Solid grasp of software design patterns and principles. - Good problem‑solving and communication skills. - Python or other languages for AI/ML integration is a plus. - Experience integrating AI/ML models into applications, pipelines, or analytics platforms is a plus. **Required Education & Certifications:** - Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field. - Authorization to work in the United States (no visa sponsorship). *Preferred:* Experience in financial services, asset management, or analytics platforms.
