Job title: Business Systems Administrator
Role Summary:
Support, configure, and manage the bank’s lending systems (e.g., Abrigo, Aurora, Laser Pro). Act as the liaison between IT and lending business units, ensuring systems are optimized, compliant, and effectively support loan origination, risk management, and reporting functions. Deliver technical configuration, upgrades, troubleshooting, and user support while maintaining documentation and compliance with regulatory standards.
Expectations:
- Ensure lending systems are fully utilized, secure, and aligned with business objectives.
- Deliver timely issue resolution and proactive system performance improvements.
- Maintain rigorous documentation and reporting for daily, monthly, and annual processes.
- Coordinate change management, upgrades, and new feature implementation with minimal disruption.
Key Responsibilities:
- Administer day‑to‑day configuration, maintenance, and upgrades for all lending applications.
- Troubleshoot system and user issues, providing efficient resolutions.
- Collaborate with lending staff to streamline loan approval workflows and reduce origination times.
- Implement automation and credit‑decision workflow enhancements.
- Maintain accurate data integration, user access, and security controls.
- Ensure all system activities comply with regulatory and internal compliance frameworks.
- Monitor system performance and user feedback to identify optimization opportunities.
- Create and maintain documentation for application configurations, operational procedures, and process flows.
- Produce regular reports for lending and business units.
- Participate in testing, release, and project management activities for system changes.
Required Skills:
- Strong analytical and troubleshooting capabilities.
- Proficiency in system administration, application management, and technical support.
- Experience with change management, release management, and testing.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder‑management skills.
- Familiarity with financial systems and banking regulatory requirements.
Required Education & Certifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Minimum of 4 years of experience in a banking or financial institution, or equivalent education and experience combination.
- Certifications in application management or related disciplines are a plus.
