**Job Title:** Senior AI/ML Engineer
**Role Summary:**
Lead the design, development, and deployment of advanced AI/ML solutions, including traditional machine learning, generative AI, and agentic AI. Architect and maintain scalable MLOps/LLMOps pipelines, evaluate and onboard third‑party AI products, and enforce governance and compliance standards to support enterprise‑grade LLM applications.
**Expectations:**
- Deliver end‑to‑end AI solutions that meet business and regulatory requirements.
- Maintain reproducible, traceable pipelines with robust CI/CD and monitoring.
- Drive adoption of reusable AI components across internal teams.
- Collaborate with engineering, procurement, legal, and governance stakeholders to ensure seamless integration and compliance.
**Key Responsibilities:**
- Design & implement machine‑learning models, RAG pipelines, and prompt‑engineering techniques.
- Build and operate MLOps and LLMOps pipelines using tools such as MLflow, SageMaker, or MosaicAI.
- Conduct technical due diligence, sandbox testing, and benchmark evaluations for vendor AI products.
- Develop reusable APIs, Copilot plugins, and lightweight UI demos with Streamlit, Flask, or similar.
- Define and enforce model validation, bias detection, explainability, and governance standards aligned with GDPR and FCA.
- Leverage cloud‑native platforms (Databricks, Azure AI, AWS, Docker) to accelerate solution delivery.
**Required Skills:**
- Strong machine‑learning engineering fundamentals: pipeline design, model lifecycle management, CI/CD, model registries, feature‑store usage.
- Proficiency in Python; familiarity with R or Java is a plus.
- Experience with PyTorch, TensorFlow, Hugging Face, LangChain/LangGraph, LlamaIndex.
- Expertise in prompt engineering (zero‑shot, few‑shot) and LLM evaluation metrics (ROUGE, LLM‑as‑a‑Judge, BERT).
- Skilled in containerization (Docker) and cloud platforms (Databricks, Azure AI, AWS).
- Knowledge of AI governance, bias mitigation, explainability, and regulatory frameworks (GDPR, FCA).
- Strong analytical, problem‑solving, and communication skills for cross‑functional collaboration.
- Practical experience building UI demos with Streamlit, Flask, or equivalent frameworks.
**Required Education & Certifications:**
- PhD or MSc in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Data Science, or a related technical discipline.
- Relevant certifications in AI, ML, or cloud platforms are advantageous.
