Job Description
**Job title:** AI/Machine Learning Engineer **Role Summary:** Design, develop, and maintain ML/AI software tools that enable scalable, edge‑aware AI applications on Kubernetes‑based storage and compute platforms. Work closely with product and architecture leaders to translate customer needs into robust, cloud‑native solutions, ensuring high performance and reliability of GPU‑accelerated workloads. **Expactations:** - Deliver hands‑on, production‑grade code following Agile practices and CI/CD pipelines. - Own problem statements, prioritize work, and resolve technical blockers independently. - Communicate progress and challenges clearly to stakeholders across time zones. - Demonstrate ownership, teamwork, and a proactive attitude toward innovation and delivery. **Key Responsibilities:** - Build and extend ML/AI tool suites (TensorFlow, PyTorch, Triton) for generative and inferential tasks. - Design scalable, modular software architectures using Kubernetes, Kubeflow, Kserve, and Kuberay. - Integrate GPU resources (NVIDIA GPUs, NVIDIA AI tool suite) into edge and cloud environments. - Develop pipelines for data ingestion, ETL, and LLM fine‑tuning. - Participate in code reviews, unit/integration testing, and performance profiling. - Collaborate with the Chief Storage Architect to align product vision with technical execution. - Continuously research emerging ML/AI technologies and contribute to product roadmap. **Required Skills:** - Proficiency in Python, Bash scripting, and Linux command line. - Experience with TensorFlow, PyTorch, Triton, and LLM training pipelines. - Hands‑on knowledge of NVIDIA GPU programming and AI tool ecosystem. - Familiarity with Kubernetes‑based ML/AI platforms (Kubeflow, Kserve, Kuberay). - Experience developing in IDEs such as VS Code and Jupyter. - Practiced Agile/Scrum development, source control, build, verification, and troubleshooting. - Strong written and verbal communication, customer‑centric mindset. - Team player with a sense of ownership and commitment to deliverables. **Required Education & Certifications:** - Bachelor’s degree (minimum) in Artificial Intelligence, Machine Learning, Computer Science, or related field. - 2–5 years practical AI/ML engineering experience, or Master’s degree with equivalent experience. - Relevant certifications (e.g., NVIDIA Deep Learning Institute, TensorFlow Developer) are desirable but not mandatory.
