Director / Senior Director, Sales (Business Development Executive)
**Role Summary**
Lead new customer acquisition and establish the organization as a trusted partner in the pharmacy benefits market. Drive sales strategy, close high‑value deals with self‑funded employers, brokers, and consultants, and manage a business development team. Deliver revenue growth while aligning short‑term targets with long‑term strategic goals.
**Expectations**
- 10+ years of professional experience, including 5+ years in B2B sales and 5+ years selling pharmacy benefit management or third‑party administrator solutions to self‑funded or employer groups.
- Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales quotas and closing complex, multi‑year contracts.
- Strong presentation and communication skills, empathy, and relational‑driven mindset.
- Capability to forecast, analyze savings, and articulate financial value.
- Willingness to travel up to 40% of the time and work remotely.
- Familiarity with HIPAA compliance and with HubSpot or similar CRM tools is a plus.
**Key Responsibilities**
1. Build and maintain trusted relationships with employee‑benefits brokers, pharmacy benefit consultants, and self‑funded employers.
2. Represent the company’s value proposition in the marketplace; respond to RFPs and secure new customer accounts.
3. Refine and implement sales strategy in partnership with executive leadership, including planning processes, channel development, and growth initiatives.
4. Scale and manage sales operations to support organizational growth targets.
5. Own and grow one or more verticals (Pharmacy, Medical Carve‑Out, Specialty Carve‑Out).
6. Deepen brand awareness across industry segments, driving pipeline velocity and reach.
7. Conduct financial analysis to demonstrate savings model, forecast targets, and report progress.
8. Collaborate with Clinical, Product Development, Data Analytics, Member Experience, and Client Success teams.
9. Manage and mentor the business development team, ensuring alignment with company objectives.
10. Report directly to the CEO on strategy, performance, and market insights.
**Required Skills**

- Deep understanding of pharmacy benefit management or related healthcare solutions.

**Required Education & Certifications**
