Job Title: Associate Director/Director, Market Access (9‑Month FTC)
Role Summary:
Lead development and execution of market access and pricing strategies across EU, Nordic, UK, Ireland, and Central & Eastern Europe to secure and sustain reimbursement pathways. Manage HTA submissions, pricing negotiations, and stakeholder engagement to support successful product launches and long‑term access.
Expectations:
- Develop and implement country‑specific market access plans within global strategy.
- Own end‑to‑end HTA and pricing submissions, ensuring compliance and timely delivery.
- Deliver payer value propositions, pricing analyses, and evidence‑based arguments.
- Monitor policy changes, competitor activities, and manage risk mitigation.
- Coordinate cross‑functional inputs and maintain accurate documentation across regions.
Key Responsibilities:
- Support Head of Global Market Access & Pricing in strategy design for EU, Nordics, UK, Ireland, and CE Europe.
- Lead HTA and pricing submissions from preparation to submission.
- Drive access initiatives for product launches, uptake, and sustainability.
- Partner with pricing consultants on analyses, recommendations, and implementation.
- Track policy changes, reimbursement landscapes, and competitor intelligence.
- Coordinate Medical, Regulatory, Marketing, Finance inputs for submissions and strategies.
- Develop value dossiers, reimbursement arguments, and payer‑relevant materials.
- Maintain pricing and reimbursement status dashboards; update internal records.
- Contribute to budget‑impact and cost‑effectiveness models; support payer evidence needs.
- Prepare materials for payer meetings, advisory boards, and negotiation sessions.
- Support governance processes for pricing decisions and market access strategies.
- Align global, regional, and local strategies; provide project management support for milestones.
Required Skills:
- Advanced analytical, strategic thinking, and problem‑solving abilities.
- Proven experience in market access strategy, reimbursement negotiations, and HTA processes across key European markets.
- Strong understanding of health economic modelling, evidence‑based medicine, and HTA frameworks.
- Familiarity with innovative reimbursement mechanisms (Managed Access, outcomes‑based contracts).
- Fluency in English; additional European languages a plus.
- Excellent organizational and multi‑priority management skills.
- Strong interpersonal, stakeholder‑building, and negotiation skills.
- Ability to perform under pressure, maintain confidentiality, and exercise discretion.
Required Education & Certifications:
- Advanced degree (PhD/Master’s) in Health Economics, Health Policy, Public Health, Medicine, Pharmacy, or related field.
- Professional certifications in health economics or market access (e.g., GMA, CEPI, AHA) preferred.
