Job Description
Job Title: Business Development Representative Role Summary: Generate new sales opportunities and grow revenue in the clean‑energy and process automation sectors. Drive proactive outreach, market research, and client engagement to build a robust pipeline for high‑quality process instruments, SCADA/Telemetry products, VFDs, and fuel cells. Expectations: - Proven, results‑oriented sales record (≥3 years in Oil & Gas, Renewable Energy, or related field). - Strong negotiation, communication, and listening skills. - Independent, target‑driven, adaptable, with entrepreneurial mindset. - Valid driver’s licence for frequent travel across Western Canada. Key Responsibilities: - Conduct cold calling, networking, and creative outreach to identify and prospect new clients. - Identify and pursue opportunities in Oil & Gas, CCTV, Water/Waste‑Water, and other emerging verticals. - Deliver compelling sales presentations and product demos. - Perform market research to understand trends, customer needs, and competitive landscape. - Use Salesforce to forecast, track activities, and report pipeline status. - Attend industry events, trade shows, and maintain relationships with key stakeholders. - Provide market and competitive feedback to senior management. - Develop strategic plans for new market entry and segment growth. Required Skills: - Strong negotiation, communication, and conflict‑resolution skills. - Analytical and organizational abilities. - Self‑motivated, energetic, and able to thrive independently. - Proficiency with CRM systems (Salesforce preferred). - Adaptability, initiative, and continuous learning mindset. Required Education & Certifications: - Bachelor’s degree in Business, Engineering, or related field, or equivalent technology certification. - Valid driver’s licence and willingness to travel. ---
